How to Enter:

  1. Spot Coco roaming around the Bournemouth Pier Approach or on Bournemouth Pier.
  2. Snap a selfie with him (don’t be shy, he loves a photo!).
  3. Post your photo to Instagram using the tag @bournemouthpier so we can see your entry.
  4. That’s it!

What you win:

Every Monday, we’ll draw a lucky winner to choose between two epic experiences:

  • 2x PierZip Tickets: Because ziplining over the waves 200 metres out to sea is always better with a friend or family member!
  • An Ultimate Adventure Ticket: The ultimate day out packed with non-stop excitement.

The challenge runs all summer long from 10th August until 1st September, so be out on the lookout every time you visit Bournemouth Pier.

Terms & Conditions: Find Coco Challenge

  1. Promoter:The promoter of this competition is Bournemouth Pier / RockReef (“The Promoter”), Bournemouth Pier, Bournemouth, BH1 2BU.
  2. Eligibility:
    • The competition is open to UK residents. Entrants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter and to redeem any prize.
    • Employees of Bournemouth Pier, RockReef, or associated companies, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
  3. Competition Period & Availability:
    • The competition runs from Monday, 10th August until Sunday, 1st September.
    • Coco Schedule: Coco will only be roaming Bournemouth Pier Approach or Bournemouth Pier between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Wednesday to Sunday. Coco will not be present on Mondays or Tuesdays.
  4. How to Enter:To enter, participants must:
    • Spot Coco on Bournemouth Pier Approach or Bournemouth Pier during his scheduled hours (Wed–Sun, 11am–5pm).
    • Take a selfie or photo with Coco.
    • Post the photo to Instagram, tagging the official account @bournemouthpier.
    • Account privacy settings/posts must be set to public so that the entry can be verified by the Promoter.
  5. Prizes:
    • Each weekly winner will receive their choice of ONE of the following options:
      • 2x PierZip Tickets; OR
      • 1x Ultimate Adventure Ticket at RockReef.
    • Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative experiences.
    • Standard height, weight, health, and age safety restrictions apply to both PierZip and RockReef activities (please visit the RockReef website for full participant safety criteria).
  6. Winner Selection & Notification:
    • One winner will be drawn at random every Sunday from all valid social media entries received during that week up to 11:59 PM every Sunday.
    • Winners will be contacted via Direct Message (DM) on the platform used to enter (Instagram ) exclusively from the official @bournemouthpier account.
    • If a winner does not respond to claim their prize within 7 days of being notified, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  7. Social Media Disclaimer:
    • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, or Facebook. By entering, participants release Instagram and Facebook from any responsibility or liability.
  8. Media Rights & Consent:
    • By tagging @bournemouthpier and entering, participants grant Bournemouth Pier and RockReef permission to repost, share, or use the entry photo across their official social media channels, website, and marketing materials.
    • Entries featuring minors (under 18) must be posted by a parent or legal guardian, thereby confirming consent for the minor’s image to be featured.
  9. General Conditions:
    • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or amend the competition and these terms at any time without prior notice in the event of severe weather, unforeseen circumstances, or events outside its reasonable control.
    • Entry into the competition is deemed as full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
